Tristan - Captain

Hi, I'm Tristan, the captain and founder of Solar Flare. I am a freshman at Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School and I have been programming for 6 years in languages like Python, Java, HTML, and more. I have 2 years of FTC robotics experience from previously being on an FTC team prior to Solar Flare. I manage programming, mechanics, and some outreach. I am also involved in competitive mathematics.

Arick 

Hi, I'm Arick and I am the co-founder of Solar Flare. I am a freshman at Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School. I have three years of Python programming experience and also know Java and some HTML. Along with that, I have some experience building robots and past experience with a different robotics team. I am a programmer and builder on this team.

Emil

Hi, my name’s Emil! I’m currently a freshman in Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School, and participate in the outreach department of my robotics team. I have past experiences in debate and public speaking, which helps me with pitches and speaking. I am also currently taking courses in business and sales to more understand the marketing aspect of a robotics team and FTC itself. 

Vivaan

I'm Vivaan, a 14-year-old who loves robotics. I'm knowledgeable in many programming languages like Swift, Java, and Python. I'm part of the programming and outreach team but help with mechanics and CAD too. I have many skills in tools like Blender and CAD. Personally, I'm also a young journalist who writes about many different topics. 

Dani

Dani’s programming experience includes game design in Unity using C#, while also computational C#. He is also learning Java in his own time where he is taking a college-level course. Dani also has experience on a robotics team before Solar Flare.

  Ryan

I’m Ryan Ma, a 14-year-old who enjoys building and coding. I have several years of experience with programming languages like Python and Java from various camps. I’m part of the programming and build team, and I also serve as the human player.

 Arjun 

 I’m Arjun, I am a 8th grader at Edgemont Jr/Sr High School. I have multiple years of programming experience with Java and Python, and I compete in USACO competitions. I am also currently learning more advanced CAD and other mechanics to assist our team. I am part of the Programming and Mechanics teams for Solar Flare.
